2021 66th Annual SAPSF Conference - ULAPS
After two years of enduring a deadly pandemic, the ULAPS branch of SAPSF successfully hosted the 66th SAPSF conference at the Hanyani Lodge and Conference Center in Giyani. The theme for this conference was; Think Pharmacy: Quality Healthcare for All.
The four day conference commenced with reports from the outgoing PresCo who highlighted both their achievements and shortcomings and provided guidance for the incoming committee. The chairpersons of the SMUAPS, TUTAPS, UKNAPS, ULAPS and WPSC branches also provided the delegates with reports of their activities. The conference proceeded with the annual general meeting which highlighted issues that all branches were facing that would need to be attended to by the incoming PresCo. The outcome of the AGM also saw a new position being added to the PresCo, that is the IPSF contact person.

The Limpopo branch of SAAHIP was well represented by the secretary, Mr Nhlanhla G. Mafarafara who in addition to facilitating the clinical skills competition, gave an inspirational talk, highlighting the importance of young pharmacists filling up the spaces in which they enter to the maximum.

Unfortunately, the delegates of this conference did not indulge in a much anticipated gala dinner due to time constraints and a unanimous decision to cancel the dinner.
